Outpatient is a lower level of care frequently offered to those who have completed a day/night program or residential treatment. This program is also appropriate for those who are unable to attend an inpatient program due to work demands or finances and still wish to receive comprehensive treatment for their addiction. At this stage of recovery many alcoholics and drug addicts have begun transitioning back into society by obtaining jobs or attending school. In an effort to accommodate our clients' needs, our program meets Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday nights from six to nine pm. This schedule is offered so as not to disrupt our patients' work and family obligations. Generally our intensive outpatient program meets for a total of six weeks.


However, for those needing treatment for longer periods of time, Recovery First also offers extended care options. To embrace our clients' specific needs, an individual counselor is assigned to create an effective treatment plan. This includes one on one counseling, group therapy, and relapse prevention. At Recovery First we make every effort to advocate for our clients. We understand that each case has special circumstances, and we are happy to work with Employee Assistance Programs (EAP) and the court system if needed. Recovery First can also arrange housing in a clean and sober living environment for a seamless transition back into society.
